New HEE film makes patient safety the number one healthcare concern

Licence to practise at risk for 8000 doctors warns GMC

The General Medical Council (GMC) has advised almost 8000 doctors that they have until the end of the week to provide information in support of their revalidation or face having their licence to practice removed. Doctors have a duty under the GMC’s Licence to Practise and Revalidation Regulations to provide information but as yet 7,818 have failed to do so.
